The game itself names a few ways to grow your Game Naira: a job, then businesses, land and haulage trailers bought from Phone → Invest, which pay out every evening at 6 PM, the Lagos Property Fund, and bank savings and 7-day bonds. Below are the 8 businesses, 6 plots of land, the trailer and the fund with their prices and rules, read from the official game's own code. We check it once a day; last checked 13 Oct 2026, last changed 13 Oct 2026.
We list the numbers only. We do not work out how long anything takes to pay for itself, and we do not say which to buy. The terms (§7) say prices and other in-game numbers can change at any time, so if the game shows something else, the game is right. Everything here is Game Naira, which cannot be cashed out. This is an independent guide, not affiliated with Lagos Life or its developer. To play, go to lagoslife.app.
Ways to earn Game Naira
- A job. Pay per shift, by level and grade. Every career is on our jobs and salaries page.
- Businesses. 8 of them, from ₦150,000 to ₦250,000,000. Each pays out every evening.
- Land. 6 kinds of plot. The game shows each one growing a set percentage a week.
- A haulage trailer. Pays out every evening, after the driver's pay.
- The Lagos Property Fund. A property fund that pays out every evening.
- Bank savings and 7-day bonds. The game's help says savings earn interest every day. The rates are set by the game's server, so we do not list them.
Businesses
In the game's own order, which is also cheapest first. Figures are per evening.

How one evening works, in the game's code:
- Bad evening: each business has its own chance of a bad evening. If it comes up, you lose the amount on the card and that is the evening.
- Normal evening: the takings land somewhere in the range on the card, the running costs come off, and the result is rounded to ₦500.
- Weekly events can push takings up or down (see below). A boost never lifts takings above the top of the range.
- While you are away: the game pays the evenings you missed, up to the last seven.
- Selling: you get back 60% of the price.

- Growth: the percentage each card shows is the one the game's land screen shows, "+x% a week". Weekly events can move a plot's value too.
- Omo-onile: when you buy a plot, there is a chance omo-onile come and ask for 10% of its price. The game tags plots with a chance of 20% or more as "omo-onile risk".
- Selling: a 5% fee comes off.
- Cap: the game allows 20 bare plots per player. Its help points players past that to the Lagos Property Fund.
Haulage trailer
The Mack Haulage Trailer is listed in the code as:
- Price: ₦18,000,000, up to 3 per player
- Takings a day: ₦117,000 – ₦209,000
- Driver's pay a day: ₦30,000
- Breakdown chance: 8% a day per trailer; a breakdown costs ₦95,000 in repairs instead of paying
- Selling: you get back 60% of the price
Each trailer is settled every evening at 6 PM: on a normal day the takings are rounded to ₦1,000 and the driver's pay comes off.
Lagos Property Fund
The game's help says the fund "pays 1% a week, every evening, and you can cash out 5% a week". The code lists:
- Paid: 1% a week, spread over the evenings
- Cash out: up to 5% a week
- Smallest amount to put in: ₦1,000,000
- Exit fee: 5%
Weekly economy events
The game's code has 9 economy events. It schedules them from the week of 12 Oct 2026: at most one a week, running for three or four days, with a "Coming" notice in the game first. We have not confirmed that they are switched on for every player.
- Takings changes apply to that business's evening takings while the event runs; the code keeps them between half and one and a half times normal.
- Land value changes build up over the days the event runs and stay afterwards; the code keeps each one within 10%, and plots in Imota and Ikorodu never go down.

Tax
The game taxes by the week. In its settings (checked 13 Oct 2026):
- Tax-free: the first ₦1,000,000 of job wages and the first ₦1,000,000 of other income each week. Business, trailer and fund payouts count as other income.
- Then: 7.5% on the rest.
- Taxed now: job wages and other income.
Wages and other income are worked out separately; the game's Bank screen says this means "business income never pushes your salary into a higher band". Tax comes off when the money is paid.
What this page does not cover
- how long a business, plot or trailer takes to pay for itself, or which one to pick: we list the numbers and leave the choice to you
- bank interest rates, which the game's server sets
- renting out homes, bus fleets, player companies, side gigs and daily task rewards: they are in the game, but we have not checked their rules
- LagosBet and the casino, which are not a way to make money; the game's own help says "Stake small: rent and food come first."
- extra rules for very rich players
- the blurbs and bad-evening messages the game shows
Everything you earn is Game Naira. It cannot be withdrawn or swapped for real money; see Game Naira and refunds. For how work, food and rent fit together first, read how to play.

Each source is listed with the day we last checked it. A check date records one look on that day; the game and its terms change often, so what you see in the game is what counts.
